Marine Cpl. Dustin H. Schrage, 20, of Brevard, Fla.; assigned to 2nd Battalion, 4th Marine Regiment, 1st Marine Division, I Marine Expeditionary Force, at Camp Pendleton, Calif.; found dead on May 6 in Anbar province, Iraq. The young Marine was part of a small unit attempting to swim across the Euphrates River on a covert mission. Dustin along with a fellow Marine towed a line across the river but neither made it to shore after being sucked into a whirlpool that pulled the soldiers under water as they passed the half-way point of the swim.
