Marine Gunnery Sgt. Floyd C. Holley, a 36-year-old explosives ordnance disposal technician, was conducting combat operations in Helmand province when he was killed, 1st Marine Logistics Group officials said in a statement Monday. He was assigned to 7th Engineer Support Battalion, 1st Marine Logistics Group, based at Camp Pendleton, Calif.
