Technical Sergeant McBride was a member of Headquarters Squadron, 8th Air Base Wing, U.S. Air Force. He died of other causes on July 7, 1952 at Suwon Air Base (K-13). Technical Sergeant McBride was awarded the Korean Service Medal, the United Nations Service Medal, the National Defense Service Medal, the Korean Presidential Unit Citation and the Republic of Korea War Service Medal.
