Reifert, 23, of Cottrellville, Mich.; assigned to 1st Battalion, 327th Infantry Regiment, 1st Brigade Combat Team, 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault), Fort Campbell, Ky.; died Nov. 6 at Combat Outpost Able Main, Afghanistan, of wounds suffered when insurgents attacked his unit with small-arms fire.
