Army Cpl. Angelo J. Vaccaro, 23, of Deltona, Fla.; assigned to 1st Battalion, 32nd Infantry Regiment, 3rd Brigade Combat Team, 10th Mountain Division, Fort Drum, N.Y.; died Oct. 3 from injuries sustained during combat operations in Korengal, Afghanistan.

Corporal Vaccaro was the first member of the U.S. Military to receive TWO Silver Stars in the Global War on Terrorism.
